For fluid, solid or porous media, CFD allows to find the optimal solution to any heat transfer problem (convection, conduction or radiation), by evaluating:
- Mechanical part heating or cooling time,
- Sizing of furnaces or structures submitted to high temperatures,
- Sizing of heat exchangers,
- Losses in thermal energy storage…
Simulation data
The results obtained by our simulations help to optimize the design of a mechanical set and can be exported in order to realize the thermomechanical calculations. The simulations allow to visualize:
- The temperature and the temperature gradient distribution on the surfaces or within a room,
- The computation of a heat exchange by convection, conduction or radiation,
- The efficiency of an insulation system by conduction …
